8GETTING STARTEDCharge for 16 hoursbefore first use(Stays charged forapproximately 1 weekdepending on use.)OFFImportant! Turn Dental WaterJet off and charge for 16 hoursbefore first use. Plug the cord into anystandard electrical outlet. The Waterpik ® UltraCordless Dental Water Jet will stay charged forapproximately 1 week depending on use. Make sureyou push the switch into the ‘OFF’ position. The unitwill not charge if the switch is in the ON position.See “Care of your Waterpik® Ultra Cordless DentalWater Jet” for guidance on how to look after yourbattery.Filling the ReservoirLift flip top on reservoir and fill the reservoir withlukewarm water.Inserting and Removing TipsInsert tip into the center ofthe knob at the top of theDental Water Jet handle.The colored ring will beflush with the end of theknob if the tip is correctlylocked into place.To remove the tip fromthe handle, press thejet tip eject buttonand pull tip fromthe handle.Important!Turn off.
