Unplug immediately.• Check the power supply cord for damage beforethe first use and during the life of the product.WARNING:To reduce the risk of burns,electric shock, fire, seriousinjury or damage to tissue:• Do not use this product if it has a damagedcord or plug, if it is not working properly, ifit has been dropped or damaged, or droppedinto any liquid. Return the product to anauthorized service center or Water Pik, Inc.• Closely instruct and supervise children andindividuals with special needs in the properuse of this product.• Do not direct water under the tongue, into theear, nose or other delicate areas. This productis capable of producing pressures that maycause serious damage in these areas. See“operating instructions” for correct usage.• Use this product only as indicated in theseinstructions or as recommended by yourdental professional.• This product is designed to be used for aduration of 5 minutes per usage. If more thanone individual is using the appliance, allowthe unit to rest approximately 5 minutes aftereach use.• Only use attachments, including jet tips,Pik Pocket ® tips, tongue cleaner tips andorthodontic tips that are recommended byWater Pik, Inc.• Do not remove the Pik Pocket ® flexible tipfrom the clear shaft. If it separates for anyreason, discard both the tip and shaft andreplace with a new Pik Pocket ® Tip.• Fill reservoir with water or otherrecommended solutions only.• Do not drop or insert any foreign object intoany opening or hose.• Keep electrical cord away from heatedsurfaces.• Do not operate where oxygen or aerosolsprays are being used.• For household use only. Do not use outdoors.• Do not use while wearing anyoral jewelry.
