Queues are particularly useful when many printjobs are being sent to the DocuColor. When a job is printed to a DocuColor queue, itis stored on the DocuColor hard disk rather than the user’s hard disk, quickly freeingup the user’s workstation.The DocuColor hard disk supports two queues (Print and Printed). Users may print tothe Print queue only.• Print queue—This is the standard DocuColor queue. The DocuColor prints jobsfrom the Print queue in the order in which they were received. If you plan to use theremote utilities, you must publish the Print queue.• Printed queue—The Printed queue is a job storage area on the DocuColor disk; itcontains the most recent jobs printed from the Print queue. The Printed queuemakes it convenient to reprint those jobs. A Server Setup option enables this queueand governs the maximum number of jobs retained in it at any given time (seepage 2-8). Reprinting jobs in this queue requires the Spooler or WebSpooler.Printer Setup optionsPrinter Setup configures the connections and printing behavior associated with aparticular printing device.1.
