DocuMate 262 Scanner User’s Guide 11Installation• Full Install (OneTouch, TWAIN and ISIS)—This is therecommended installation. It installs the One Touch 4.0software which provides the necessary driver software forthe scanner. It also installs scanning interfaces for theTWAIN and ISIS drivers. Installing this option means thatyou can use several different methods to scan, asexplained in this User Guide.• TWAIN and ISIS—The TWAIN and ISIS drivers areinstalled. The One Touch 4.0 Monitor will not run and youcannot use the One Touch features. You can use the XeroxDocuMate 262 TWAIN driver to scan from applications witha TWAIN interface. You can also scan from applicationsthat use the ISIS driver. You will not be able to scan with thebuttons on the scanner.• TWAIN only—The TWAIN driver is installed without theOne Touch 4.0 software or the ISIS driver. You can use theXerox DocuMate 262 TWAIN driver to scan from TWAINapplications. You will not be able to scan with the buttonson the scanner.• ISIS only—The ISIS driver is installed. You can useapplications that use the ISIS driver such as Kofax andQuickScan. The One Touch 4.0 Monitor will not run and youcannot use the One Touch features. You will not be able touse the Xerox DocuMate 262 TWAIN driver. You also willnot be able to scan with the buttons on the scanner.NOTE: If you decide to change the scanner’s installed driverslater on, you must first uninstall the drivers the scanner iscurrently using. See the section “To Install Another Driver” onpage 108.
