Ensure that the customer knows how toinstall the correct printer driver and to selectthe PE220 or Phaser 3200 as the defaultprinter.1. Refer the customer to the PE220 or Phaser3200 User Guide.2. Perform Pattern Test, GP 4. 2.Check the power of the machine and per-form the Pattern Test, GP 4. If the test printingworks, that means no problems in themachine itself. If the test printing does notwork, that means bad functioning of themachine (not because of software).3. Check if the PC and the machine is prop-erly connected and the print cartridgeinstalled.3. Replace the printer cable. If the problems isnot solved even after replacing the cable,check the amount of remaining toner.4. Printing is not working in Windows. 4. Check if the connection between PC andprinter port is correct. Uninstall the driver,then re-install new drivers. Refer toXerox.com. Ask the customer to check theBIOS of the PC to ensure that there are noIRQ conflicts and to check that the input/out-put range is 0378.5. Check if the printer cable is directly con-nected to peripheral devices5. If the scanner needs to be connected to themachine, remove the scanner from the PC tosee if the machine is working alone properly.
