Suggests an IP address for the printer if one has not already been assigned (forexample, from the front panel or by DHCP). You are given the opportunity to acceptthe automatically assigned address or assign a different one. For information on othermethods of setting the printer’s IP address, see page 13. Windows 95/98/ME—Installs PhaserPort for Windows (if not already installed).PhaserPort for Windows is a Xerox port monitor for printing over Windows 95/98/METCP/IP peer-to-peer networks. Windows NT—Installs Microsoft TCP/IP Printing Services (if not already installed). Installs the driver. Creates a printer in the Printers window.
