Limits can be set on thenumber of impressions allowed by each account holder.Account TypesThe Auditron uses four types of account:Auditron AdministratorThe Auditron Administrator is allocated a User Account by the SystemAdministrator. The account is given Administrator access rights. This enablesthe Auditron Administrator to select the Access and Accounting button in theTools Pathway: no other Tools options are available. From Access andAccounting the Auditron Administrator can add, delete, or modify accounts,enable or disable access for account users to groups and set limits on thenumber of impressions each account holder is allowed.More than one user can be allocated Administrator rights within the Auditron.The Auditron has the facility to allow Auditron data to be printed in a reportformat to maintain or to check usage.Auditron SetupTo setup the Auditron you must first select the type of Auditron required, thisis called Authentication. After authenticating, the Auditron must next beinitialized.Type DescriptionMasterAccountProvides the initial account to log into when the Auditron isauthenticated and initialized. The account has all tools andAuditron rights enabled. It is set up and managed by the SystemAdministrator. The Master Account is always active as long asthe Auditron is enabled and cannot be deleted.The System Administrator enables a user account for theAuditron Administrator.UserAccountsAll users of the machine must have a valid User Account to login.The user is also set up with a default Group Account. Thecounts for both User and Group Accounts are updated when ajob is run on the machine.GroupAccountsProvides the ability to track images for a workgroup. Many userscan be associated with one Group Account. If the user hasaccess to Multiple Group Accounts, they can choose whichGroup Account to access, in addition to their own User Account.Use Group Accounts to track usage by workgroup or officedepartments. No limit can be set for Group Accounts.GeneralAccountsGeneral Accounts can only be accessed if the user has loginrights. The count is updated for the General Account only. UseGeneral Accounts to track usage by administrative tasks orcustomers. No limit can be set for General Accounts.
