Leave a gap of approximately1/32 in. (1 mm) between the paper guideand the left edge of the envelope.Push the paper release lever back. Thepaper will be clamped by the paper feedroller inside the printer.Do not reuse the misfed paper.Do not use materials that:• are composed with glues, inks andadhesive that could discolor, scorch,or melt when heat is applied• have cellophane windows, peel-offadhesive strips• are heavily textured, coated orembossed• are cotton paper composed of morethan 25% of recycled paper.5Note: It is recommended that you loadand print one envelope ortransparency at a time.6Note: Paper jams (E1) mayoccur if:• the paper lever is not used.• the paper tray is overstacked.• the space between the paper guideand the left edge of the paper isgreater than 1 mm.• the paper guide is pushing thepaper so hard that the paperbuckles.• the paper is not stored properlyand absorbs moisture from the air(replace the paper).XE90QRG.BK Page 4 Wednesday, January 5, 2000 9:55 AM
