If you are not satisfied with the performance of your copier, youmay request an exchange unit. Upon your authorization to accept an exchanged unitand with appropriate security (credit card authorization) we will, at no cost to you,promptly ship a copier in exchange for your defective unit. The exchange unit we shipto you will, at our option, be new or reconditioned by Xerox. You must then pack andreturn your defective unit to us. Upon its receipt, we will release your credit cardsecurity.HOW IS WARRANTY REPAIR SERVICE OBTAINED?If you prefer that we repair your copier instead of exchanging it for another unit, our CustomerService Representative will explain how to obtain repair service under this warranty. Pleasesave the original packaging materials in order to facilitate shipment.WHAT YOU MUST DO:Your copier is designed to perform with a minimum amount of user maintenance. You are,however, responsible for the required user maintenance described in the User Guideprovided with your copier. This required user maintenance includes the replacement of dryink (toner) cartridges, drum (copy) cartridges, or film cartridges, and clearing paper misfeeds,cleaning the unit and other routine and preventive maintenance.
