Disassembly1. Turn OFF the DX100/DX200/FS100 power supply.2. Unscrew the hexagon socket button head screws and remove thecover .3. Unscrew the hexagon socket head cap screws and pull out theinternal wiring harness.4. Connect the backup battery with the cable of the R-axis motor .(Refer to Chapter 2 “Notes for Maintenance”.)5. Disconnect the cables (both encoder and power-cables) of the R-axismotor from the internal wiring harness.6. Unscrew the GT-SA bolts and remove the R-axis motor from thecasing.7. Unscrew the hexagon socket head cap screw and remove thepulley . Reassembly1. Mount the pulley on the R-axis motor .2. Attach the conical spring washer to the hexagon socket head capscrew , then apply LOCTITE 242 to the thread part and tighten it withthe tightening torque shown in Table 5-4 “R-Axis Motor PartsChecklist”.3. Mount the R-axis motor on the casing and put the timing belt on thepulley .4. Tighten the GT-SA bolts with the tightening torque shown in Table5-4. (Refer to section 8.2 “Disassembly and Reassembly of R-AxisTiming Belt”and adjust the initial tension of the timing belt.)5. Attach the conical spring washers to the hexagon socket head capscrews and tighten them with the tightening torque shown in Table5-4.6. Connect the cables (both encoder and power-cables) of the R-axismotor with the internal wiring harness.7. Remove the backup battery.8. Put the internal wiring harness back to the original state.9.
