Attach the ferrite core as close as possible tothe SDD-12 body, as shown.Do not connect any accessory unapprovedby YAESU to supply DC power; otherwisethe FTA-750/FTA-550 may be damaged.Antenna Installation To attach the supplied antenna to the FTA-750/FTA-550, grasp the base of the antenna firmly, andexert a moderate “pinching” pressure on the baseas you press the antenna onto the radio’s antennaconnector.
