39Setup (Menu) ModeThe FTM-7250DR Setup (Menu) mode, already described in parts of many previouschapters, is easy to activate and setup. The Menus may be used to configure manyof transceiver parameters, some of which have not been detailed previously. Use thefollowing procedure to activate the Setup (Menu) mode:1. Press and hold the [MHz(SETUP)]key to enter the Setup menu.2. Rotate the DIAL knob to select theMenu Item to be adjusted.3. Press the [MHz(SETUP)] key mo-mentarily to enable adjustment ofthe selected Menu item, and thenrotate the DIAL knob to perform theactual adjustment.4. After completing the selection and adjustment, press and hold the [MHz(SETUP)] keyto exit the Setup menu and resume normal operation.Note: For details, refer to the Advanced Manual (download from the Yaesu website).Menu Item Function Available Values Default1 APO Enables/Disables the Automatic PowerOff feature.0.5H to 12H (0.5H step)/OFF OFF2 BCLO Enables/Disables the Busy ChannelLock-Out feature. ON/OFF OFF3 BEP KEY Enables/Disables the key beeper. KEY+SCAN/KEY/OFF KEY+SCAN4 BEP EDGE Enables/Disable the Band-edge beeperwhile scanning. ON/OFF OFF5 BEP LVL Sets the beep level HIGH/LOW HIGH6 BEP STBY Enables/Disable the Standby beep ON/OFF ON7 BELL Selects the CTCSS/DCS/EPCS BellRinger repetitions. 1 to 20/CONTINUE/OFF OFF8 CLK TYPE Shifting of the CPU clock frequency.
