Install the seal 7, grommet 8, a newgasket 9 and pump housing assembly0 into the lower case, tighten the boltsq.NOTE:When installing the pump housing, applygrease to the inside of the housing, and thenturn the drive shaft clockwise while pushingdown the pump housing.Installing the lower unit1. Set the gear shift to the neutral positionat the lower unit and power unit. Makesure that the shift rod is in the neutralposition using a special service tool.2. Install the dowels 1 into the lower unitand extension 2.3. Install the lower unit into the upper case,and then tighten the lower case mountingbolt and nuts 3 to the specified torque.4. Install the trim tab 4 to its original posi-tion, and then tighten the trim tab bolt 5.åX-transom model5.
