48 EnTROUBLESHOOTING■ iPodNoteIf a transmission error occurs but no status message is displayed on the front panel display of the receiver, check the connection betweenthe receiver and your iPod (☞p.10).Status message Cause Remedy SeepageCONNECT ERR There is a problem with the signal pathfrom your iPod to the receiver.Turn off the receiver and try resetting your iPod. 10UNKNOWN TYP The iPod being used is not supported bythe receiver.Only iPod (Click and Wheel), iPod nano, iPodClassic, iPod mini and iPod touch are supported.—CONNECTED Your iPod is properly stationed in theiPod dock, and the connection betweenyour iPod and the receiver is complete.NOT CONNECT Your iPod was removed from the iPoddock of the receiver.Station your iPod back to the terminal of the receiver. 10CAN'T PLAY The receiver cannot play back the songscurrently stored on your iPod.Check that the songs currently stored on your iPodare playable.—Store some other playable music files on your iPod. —Remote controlProblem Cause Remedy SeepageThe remote controldoes not work norfunction properly.The remote control may be operatedoutside its operation range.For information on the remote control operationrange, see “Using the remote control” .11The remote control sensor on this systemmay be exposed to direct sunlight orlightening (invented fluorescent lamps).Change the lighting or orientation of this system. 11The battery may be worn out. Replace the battery with new one. 11There are obstacles between the sensor ofthis system and the remote control.Remove the obstacles. 11The system control cable is disconnectedfrom the system connector jack of thereceiver and/or the BD player.Connect the receiver and the BD player securely withthe system control cable.8BD player (BD-940)Problem Cause Remedy SeepagePower does not turnon.The plug is not completely inserted. Connect the power cable firmly. 8The receiver and the BD player areconnected incorrectly.Check the connection with the receiver. 8The receiver is set incorrectly. Check the setting (INPUT/Volume/MUTE/Headphone) of the receiver.—Power is turned off. “Auto Power Off” is set to “Yes”. Set “Auto Power Off” to “No”. 39
