53 EnEnglishADDITIONALINFORMATION• Always handle with care so that the playing surface isnot scratched. Do not warp discs.• To keep clean the playing surface, wipe with a clean,dry cloth. Do not use any type of disc cleaner, spray, orany other chemical-based liquid.• Do not wipe with a circular motion; wipe straightoutward from the center.• Use a soft-tipped pen when writing on the label side ofthe disc.• When a disc is not being used, remove it from this unitand store in an appropriate case.• Do not expose discs to direct sunlight, hightemperature or high humidity for a long time.■ To play back an 8-cm (3-inch) CDPlace it in the inner recessed area of the disc tray. Do notput a normal (12-cm) CD on top of an 8-cm (3-inch) CD.■ AnalogSound that has not been turned into numbers.Analog sound varies, while digital sound has specificnumerical values. Providing an interface between any source (suchas a set-top box or AV controller) and an audio/videomonitor (such as a digital television), HDMI supportsstandard, enhanced or high-definition video as well asmulti-channel digital audio using a single cable.
