13 EnThis unit provides Bluetooth functionality. You can enjoy wireless music playback from your Bluetooth device (mobilephone, digital audio player, etc.). Please also refer to the owner’s manual of your Bluetooth device.You’ll need to perform the pairing operation the first timeyou use your Bluetooth device with this unit, or if thepairing settings have been deleted. Pairing is an operationthat registers the Bluetooth device with this unit. If pairingis not successful, refer to the item “Bluetooth” in“TROUBLESHOOTING” (see page 21).• Yamaha does not guarantee all connections between this unitand Bluetooth device.• This unit can be paired with up to 8 Bluetooth devices. Whenpairing with the 9th device has succeeded, pairing data for thedevice with the oldest connection date will be deleted.• While connecting to the Bluetooth device and perform thepairing with another device, the current Bluetooth connectionwill be canceled.1 Press the BLUETOOTH source button formore than 3 seconds to enter pairing mode.• Pairing mode lasts for 5 minutes.• In pairing mode, the front panel display of this unitwill indicate “PAIRING,” and the Bluetoothindicator will blink.yYou can also enter pairing mode in either of the followingtwo ways:– Press and hold down INPUT l or h on this unit forthree seconds.– Select “PAIRING” from the Option menu, and thenpress ENTER (see page 19).2 Turn on the Bluetooth function on theBluetooth device.For details refer to the owner’s manual of theBluetooth device.3 From the Bluetooth connection list of theBluetooth device, choose this unit (R-S202Yamaha).• When pairing has been completed, the front paneldisplay of this unit will indicate “COMPLETED”.• When the Bluetooth device is connected, the frontpanel display of this unit will indicate“CONNECTED” and the Bluetooth indicator willlight up.yIf you are asked to enter a password, enter the numerals“0000”.4 Play back music from the Bluetooth device.• Take care that the volume setting of this unit is not too high.
