Cleaning or Replacing theExhaust / Water Mixing ElbowThere are two types of mixing elbows, theL-type and the U-type. The mixing elbow isattached to the exhaust manifold. Theexhaust gas is mixed with seawater in themixing elbow.1. Remove the mixing elbow.2. Clean dirt and scale out of the exhaustand seawater passages.3. If the mixing elbow is damaged, repairor replace it. See your authorizedYanmar Marine dealer or distributor.4.
