10Door Tightness AdjustmentRodEndArmDoorClevis PinHose TrimmingTools Required: Utility Knife1. Carefully measure the length needed. Re-member that although the hose is flexible, itwill not stretch.2. Measure the same length on the hose thatneeds to be trimmed, and with the utilityknife, cut through the webbing at the properlocation.3 Continue that cut through the webbing all theway around the hose so that it finishes justacross the support coil from where theoriginal cut was started.4. Use the utility knife to score the support coilbetween the beginning and end of the webcut. Set aside the knife, and finish breakingthe coil by hand by working the scoredportion back and forth until it breaks apart.ASSEMBLYTools Required:1. 9/16" Wrench2. Ratchet3. 9/16" Socket4. Clamps1. Remove arms from door by removing the3/8” x 1-3/4” clevis pins.2. Clamp door tightly shut.3. Adjust arm length so that rod ends on armscan be fastened to the door.4. Fasten arms to door.5. If door is still too tight or too loose, repeatsteps 1-4 and adjust the clamp tightnessuntil door is at desired tightness.
