Lower thedeck into the lowest cutting position.Remove foot plate and belt shields.1.Remove any dirt or grass that may have2.accumulated around the cutter housings andentire deck surface.With a ½" breaker bar and using the square3.opening in the idler arm, shift the arm counterclockwise to relieve the tension on the belt.Carefully roll the belt over the top of the cutter4.housing pulleys.Remove the belt guide hardware with a ½"5.wrench and set belt guide aside.Remove the belt from around the electric clutch6.on the engine shaft.8065-045Remove belt guideDeck Belt InstallationNoTE: For ease in installing the deck belt, refer to therouting decal on the cutting deck.Place the belt around all the pulleys except the1.center spindle pulley.With a ½" breaker bar, shift the idler arm counter2.clockwise.
