Engage theparking brake.Belt RemovalRemove the deck belt (see1. Deck Belt Removalin this section of the manual).Remove clutch stop to access the belt.2.Disconnect clutch wire.3.With a ½" breaker bar and using the square4.opening in the idler arm, shift the arm to createslack in the belt.Remove belt from the engine and pump pulleys.5.Belt InstallationWrap the belt around the engine pulley.1.Wrap the belt around the left pump pulley.2.Route the belt around the inside of the idler3.pulley.With a ½" breaker bar and using the square4.opening in the idler arm, shift the arm to createslack in the belt.While holding the idler back with the breakerbar, wrap the belt around the right pump pulley.Replace and secure clutch stop.5.Reinstall the deck belt.
