Advanced Phone Features111To configure intercom features via phone user interface:1. Press Menu->Features->Intercom.2. Make the desired changes.3. Press the Save soft key to accept the change or the Back soft key to cancel.These specific parameters are configurable via web user interface at the pathFeatures->Intercom.To place an intercom call when the target phone is idle:1. Press the intercom key when the phone is idle.The called destination plays a warning tone and automatically answers the call inthe speakerphone mode by default.2. To end the intercom call, press the intercom key again or the EndCall soft key.You can use multicast paging to quickly and easily broadcast time sensitiveannouncements to users who are listening to a specific multicast group. You canconfigure a multicast paging key or the paging list key on the phone, which allows youto send a Real Time Transport Protocol (RTP) stream to the pre-configured multicastaddress(es) without involving SIP signaling. You can configure the phone to receive anRTP stream from pre-configured multicast listening address(es) without involving SIPsignaling. You can specify up to 10 multicast listening addresses.To configure a multicast paging key via phone user interface:1. Press Menu->Features->DSS Keys.2. Select the desired DSS key.3. Press or , or the Switch soft key to select Key Event from the Type field.
