User Guide for the SIP-T48G IP Phone206Intercom key is configurable via web user interface at the path Dsskey->Line Key.Incoming Intercom CallsThe SIP-T48G IP phone supports to automatically answer an incoming intercom call by default.The phone automatically plays a warning tone when it receives an incoming intercom call. Inaddition, you can enable the phone to mute the microphone when it automatically answers anincoming intercom call. You can also enable the phone to automatically answer an incomingintercom call while there is already an active call on the phone. The active call is then placed onhold.Intercom features you need to know:Intercom Feature DescriptionIntercom Allow Enable or disable the IP phone to automatically answer anincoming intercom call.Intercom Mute Enable or disable the IP phone’s microphone for intercomcalls.Intercom Tone Enable or disable the IP phone to play a warning tonewhen it receives an incoming intercom call.Intercom BargeEnable or disable the IP phone to automatically answer anincoming intercom call while there is already an active callon the phone.Intercom AllowYou can enable or disable the phone to automatically answer an incoming intercom call. IfIntercom Allow is enabled, the phone will automatically answer an incoming intercom call. IfIntercom Allow is disabled, the phone will handle an incoming intercom call like a normal callinstead of directly rejecting it. Intercom Allow is enabled by default.NoteIntercom MuteYou can mute or un-mute the phone’s microphone for intercom calls automatically. If IntercomMute is enabled, the microphone will be muted for intercom calls. If Intercom Mute is disabled,the microphone will work for intercom calls. Intercom Mute is disabled by default.Intercom ToneYou can enable or disable the phone to play a warning tone when receiving an intercom call. IfIntercom Tone is enabled, the phone will play a warning tone before answering the intercom call.If Intercom Tone is disabled, the phone will automatically answer the intercom call withoutwarning. Intercom Tone is enabled by default.Your administrator can set a period of delay time before the phone automatically answersintercom calls. Contact your system administrator for more information.
