Connecting to the wired network Connecting to the wireless networkConnecting to the Wired NetworkYou can connect your phone to a wired network.Before connecting your phone to the wired network, it is important to note that the Wi-Fifeature should be disabled. For more information, refer to Connecting to the Wireless Networkon page 23.NoteConnecting to the Wireless NetworkYealink SIP-T54S media IP phone supports Wi-Fi feature. You can connect your phone to awireless network. The wireless network is more convenient and cost-effective than wirednetwork. The PC port is unavailable when using wireless network. For more information on howto connect to a wireless network, refer to Wireless Network Settings on page 28.The phone can also share the network with another network device such as a PC (personalcomputer). This is an optional connection. We recommend that you use the Ethernet cableprovided by Yealink. The PC port may be disabled, contact your system administrator for moreinformation.
