User Guide SIP-T28P IP Phone108After configuring an ACD key, you can press the ACD key to log in the ACD system. Afterlogging in, you are ready to receive calls from the ACD system. You can press the ACDkey to show your current phone status. You can press the Available/Unavailable soft keyto change your phone status. The system server monitors your phone status. When youset the phone status to available, the ACD key LED illuminates solid green, and then theserver begins distributing calls to your phone. When you set the phone to unavailable,the ACD key LED illuminates flashing green, and then the server temporarily stopsdistributing calls to your phone. To log out the ACD system, press the Log Out soft key.NoteYou can send and receive text messages using the SIP-T28P IP phone. New textmessages can be indicated both acoustically and visually. When receiving a new textmessage, the phone will play a warning tone, the phone LCD screen will promptreceiving new text messages with the number of waiting messages (example: 3 NewText Message(s)) and a flashing icon.You can store text messages in your phone’s Inbox, Sentbox, Outbox or Draftbox. Eachof the boxes can store up to 100 text messages. If the number of the text messages inone box is more than 100, the phone will directly delete the oldest text message in thebox.NoteIt is recommended you configure no more than one ACD key per phone. At any time, atmost one ACD key can be in progress on your phone.The SMS feature is not available on all servers. Contact your system administrator formore information.
