Customizing the VC400 Video Conferencing System41You can customize your VC400 video conferencing system by personally configuringcertain settings, for example, site name, time & date and language. You can addcontacts to the local directory manually or from the call history.This chapter provides basic operating instructions for customizing your system. The display devicewill prompt “No Signal”, and the VCP40 phone LCD screen prompts “Sleeping Press anykey to resume”. You can press any key on the remote control or VCP40 phone to wakethe system up. When receiving a call, the system will be woken up automatically.You can change the automatic sleep time via the remote control or web user interface.You can also press the sleep key on the remote control to make the system sleepimmediately.To configure the automatic sleep time via the remote control:1. Press (Menu soft key) to enter main menu.2. Press or to select the Basic menu.
