Single-piece rooftop package2. Charge of refrigerant and oil3. Electrical power and control connections4. Supply and return duct connections5. Factory start-upQuality AssuranceAll units are tested, rated or certified, as applicable, inaccordance with the following standards, guidelinesand codes:1. All units shall meet the latest ASHRAE 90.1 .2004minimum energy-efficiency requirements (EER)2. All units shall meet the latest ASHRAE 62 require-ments for ventilation and indoor air quality.3. All units shall be rated in accordance with the ARIStandard 340/3604. All units shall be tested to ANSI/UL 1995 and CAN/CSA C22.2 No. 236 standards5. Gas heating units shall be designed in conform toANSI Z21.47-1998/CSA 2.3-M98 standards and becarry the UL listing6. Units shall be ETL and ETL Canada listedManufacturers: The design shown on the drawing isbased upon products of the manufacturer scheduled.Alternate equipment manufacturers shall be acceptableif equipment meets the scheduled performance andcomplies with these specifications. If equipment manu-factured by manufacturer other than that scheduled isutilized, then the Mechanical Contractor shall be respon-sible for coordinating with the General Contractor and allaffected Subcontractors to insure proper provisions forinstallation of the furnished unit. This coordination shallinclude, but not be limited to, the following:1. Structural supports for units.2. Roof curb transition.3. Piping size and connection/header locations.4. Electrical power requirements and wire/conduit andovercurrent protection sizes.5. All costs incurred to modify the building provisionsto accept the furnished units.Warranty: Manufacturer shall warrant all equipment andmaterial of its manufacture against defects in workman-ship and material for a period of eighteen (18) monthsfrom date of shipment. Gas heat exchanger is 5 year.1. The warranty shall include parts only during thisperiod.2. The warranty shall not include parts associated withroutine maintenance, such as belts, air filters, etc.Delivery and HandlingUnit shall be delivered to the job site fully assembled,wired, and charged with refrigerant and oil by themanufacturer. Unit shall be stored and handled perManufacturer’s instructions.All handling and storage procedures shall be per man-ufacturer’s recommendations.SubmittalsShop Drawings: Shop drawing submittals shall include,but not limited to, the following: drawings indicating com-ponents, dimensions, weights, required clearances, andlocation, type and size of field connections, and powerand control wiring connections.Product Data: Product data shall include dimensions,weights, capacities, ratings, fan performance, motorelectrical characteristics, and gauges and finishes ofmaterials.Documentation:1. Fan curves with specified operating point clearlyplotted shall be provided.2. Product data of filter media, filter performance data,filter assembly, and filter frames shall be provided.3. Electrical requirements for power supply wiring;including wiring diagrams for interlock and controlwiring shall be supplied. Factory and field-installedwiring shall be clearly indicated.4. Operation and maintenance documentation shallbe supplied in accordance with Section 01830– Operation and Maintenance, including but notlimited to instructions for lubrication, filter replace-ment, compressor, motor and drive replacement,coil cleaning, filter maintenance, spare parts lists,and wiring diagrams.
