Do not grip the hand sensors too tightand allow the computer a few seconds to displaythe reading.Hand Pulse SensorAdjusting The ResistanceThis exercise equipment features a speedindependent braking (resistance) system. Theresistance is controlled by a magnet, which ismoved closer or further away from the flywheel - thecloser the magnet is to the flywheel the higher theresistance. The magnet is computer controlled, toadjust simply use the UP / DOWN dial on the console.Resistance LevelBuilt in Wireless Heart Rate ReceiverThis machine is equipped with a built-in receiver for your heart rate monitoring. To get an accurate reading usingthese devices, you will need to be within 90cm of the console, and a minimum of 120cm from others using aheart rate monitoring device.(Note: The transmitter may fluctuate erratically if you are too close to other heart rate monitoring equipment orthere is other electronics near by, such as TV, Radio...)
