16CLEANINGAll the enamelled parts must be cleanedwith a sponge and soapy water or othernon-abrasive products.Dry preferably with a soft cloth.Acidic substances like lemon juice,tomato sauce, vinegar etc. can damagethe enamel if left too long.STAINLESS STEEL, ALUMINIUMPARTS AND SILK-SCREEN PRINTEDSURFACESClean using an appropriate product.Always dry thoroughly.IMPORTANT: these parts must becleaned very carefully to avoid scratch-ing and abrasion. You are advised touse a soft cloth and neutral soap.CAUTION: Do not use abrasive sub-stances or non-neutral detergents asthese will irreparably damage the pro-tective surface.REPLACING THE OVEN LIGHT BULBSwitch the cooker off at the mains.Unscrew and replace the bulb withanother one resistant to high tempera-tures (300°C), voltage 230 V (50 Hz), 15W, E14.INSIDE OF OVENThis must be cleaned every time it isused.Remove and refit the side runner framesas described on the next chapter.With the oven warm, wipe the insidewalls with a cloth soaked in very hotsoapy water or another suitable product.The bottom of the oven, side runnerframes, tray and rack can be removedand washed in the sink.BURNERSThey can be removed and washed withsoapy water only.They will remain always perfect if cleanedwith products used for silverware.After cleaning or wash, check that burner-caps and burner-heads are dry beforeplacing them in the respective housings.Special attention has to be paid inorder not to exchange the housing ofthe two small burners shown in fig. 6.2.It is absolutely necessary to check theperfect housing of the burner-ring as anincorrect housing may cause seriousinconvenience.Check also that the electrodes for igni-tion be always clean in order to ensure aregular spark shooting.Burner-cap ringpartially drilledBurner-cap ringfully drilledFig.6.2
