33Connecting to gas supplyThis appliance is designed to be installedwith an appliance flexible connection only.Supply piping should not be less than R3/8.Connection is made to the Rc ½ (½” B.S.P.)female threaded entry pipe located justbelow the hotplate level on the rear left handside of the appliance. NOTE: ONLY LIQUIDSEALANTS TO BE USED WHEN INLETGAS PIPE IS FITTED I.E.: DO NOT USEP.T.F.E. SEALANT TAPE. Carry out a gastightness test after connecting to the gassupply. The gas bayonet connector must befitted in the shaded area indicated in Fig.3.Take into account that it must be possible topull the appliance forward sufficiently.Ensure the hose does not become trappedwhen pushing the appliance into position.IMPORTANT: FLEXIBLE TUBING USEDMUST COMPLY WITH BS.669 CURRENTEDITION.LPG Flexible connections must be a typesuitable for L.P.G and capable of operationup to 50 mbar and carry a red stripe, band orlabel.Fitting the stability bracketIt is recommended that if the appliance is tobe installed with a flexible supply pipe, astability bracket be fitted and is availablefrom your supplier (see Important SafetyRequirements). These instructions shouldbe read in conjunction with any leafletpacked with the stability bracket.1. Place the appliance in its intendedposition and level appliance.2.
