352. Connect the pressure gauge to theoven injector.3. Check the supply pressure by turningthe thermostat on and one hotplate tapfull on and light the appropriate burner.The pressure should be either:-(i) For Natural Gas 20mbar(ii) For LP. Gas. The pressure mustbe set to 28 mbar for use onbutane or 37 mbar for use onpropane.4. Turn off the taps, disconnect thepressure gauge and replace ovenburner and cover, ensuring that theF.S.D phial is correctly located into thebracket on the burner.5. Check operation of the oven.Checking the grillFit the grill pan shelf to the splashbackcanopy ( 4 screws). Light the grill burner byturning the grill tap full on and pressing theignition button on the fascia panel. As soonas the burner is lit the button can bereleased.Checking the hotplateFit the burner crowns and caps ensuring thatthey are correctly seated. Fit the pansupports.Check each of the hotplate burners in turnby turning the hotplate tap to its full onposition and pressing the ignition button. Assoon as the burners are lit the button can bereleased.Checking the main oven1. Turn on the oven thermostat controlknob to mark 9 and press the ignitionbutton. As soon as the burner is alightthe button can be released.2. There should now be a low gas rate tothe burner, which is the F.S.D bypassrate.3. When the F.S.D. phial has heated up itopens the F.S.D valve which allows themain gas supply to the oven burner.4. After 1 minute check that the flamecovers the full width of the burner and isstable.5. Set the oven control to Mk 2, close theoven door and check that after about 10minutes the flame size has reduced.6. Turn off the control and check that theoven flames go out.General noteInstruct the user on how to use the applianceand its ignition system.
