DEACTIVATING THE RINSE AID DISPENSERWhile the appliance is in user mode:1. Press Option.• The indicators and go off.• The indicator continues toflash.• The display shows the current setting:= rinse aid dispenser activated (factorysetting).2. Press Option to change the setting. =rinse aid dispenser deactivated.3. Press the on/off button to confirm the setting.ACTIVATING THE ACOUSTIC SIGNAL FORTHE END OF PROGRAMMEBy default this acoustic signal is deactivated but itis possible to activate it.While the appliance is in user mode:1. Press Delay.• The indicators andgo off.• The indicator continues to flash.• The display shows the current setting:= Acoustic signal off.2. Press Delay to change the setting. =Acoustic signal on.3. Press the on/off button to confirm the setting.OPTIONSDesired options must be activatedevery time before you start aprogramme.It is not possible to activate ordeactivate options while a programmeis running.Not all options are compatible witheach other. If you have selected noncompatible options, the appliance willautomatically deactivate one or moreof them. Only the indicators of theoptions still active will stay on.MULTITABActivate this option when you use multi-tablets thatintegrate the salt, rinse aid and detergent functions.They can also contain other cleaning or rinsingagents.This option deactivates the release of salt. The saltindicator does not come on.With the use of this option the programme durationis prolonged to increase the cleaning and dryingresults with the use of multi-tablets.Multitab is not a permanent option and must beselected at every cycle.How to activate MultitabPress Option until the indicator comes on.ENERGYSAVERThis option decreases the temperature of the lastrinsing phase and consequently also the energyconsumption (approximately -25%).Dishes can still be wet once the programme iscompleted.The duration of the programme will be shorter.How to activate EnergySaverPress Option until the indicator comes on.If the option is not applicable to the programme, therelated indicator does not come on or it flashesquickly for a few seconds and then goes off.The display shows the updated programmeduration.BEFORE FIRST USE1. Make sure that the current level of thewater softener agrees with the hardnessof the water supply. If not, adjust the levelof the water softener. Contact your localwater authority to know the waterhardness in your area.2. Fill the salt container with special salt fordishwasher.8
