The appliance will continue to function using a backupprogram until your local Service Force Engineer has repaired the appliance.Symptom SolutionNo power to applianceThe temperature in the freezer is too highThe freezer door will not openThe compressor runs continuouslyExcessive frost and ice has built up.Noise- Check there is power at the socket.- Check there is not a power cut by checking thehousehold lights.- Check the fuse has not blown.- Check the thermostat control knob is turned to thecorrect setting relative to ambient conditions.- Check the ambient temperature is within the appliancesoperating limits of 10°C to 32°C.- Relocate the appliance if necessary.- Has door just been opened?If so leave for a few minutes to allow the air pressure toequalise.- Adjust the thermostat control knob to give correcttemperature control. See page 5.- Check that the door is closed.- Large quantities of food have recently been placed inthe cabinet and/or door is frequently opened.- Check that air ventilation is not obstructed.- Ensure the door is not left open.- Check that nothing is preventing the door from closing.- Is the door gasket intact and clean?- Has advised periodic defrosting been carried out?- Refer to normal operating sounds.Before contacting your local Service Force Centre check the following points.IMPORTANT: If you call out an engineer to a fault listed below, or to repair a fault caused by incorrect use orinstallation, a charge will be made even if the appliance is under guarantee.
