6To remove the drawers, proceed as follows: pull thedrawer out until it comes to a stop, then tilt it upwards(see figure).PR001cFreezing fresh foodIn any 24 hour period you can freeze up to 20 kg offresh food.Activate fast freeze by depressing the fast-freezebutton à - for more than one second - 24 hoursbefore you want to freeze your fresh food, the yellowlight  illuminates. This time can be shortened,depending on the quantity of food to be frozen.After the time has elapsed place the food to be frozenin the appliance's two top compartments; if freezingonly a small amount of food, use the topcompartment.In the top compartment, products must only bestacked up to the mark on the cabinet wall so as toensure that air circulation is not obstructed.You should never freeze more than 20 Kg. of freshfood at anyone time.Once the food is completely frozen (which could takeup to 24 hours) the fast freeze function can be endedmanually by depressing the switch à again. Theyellow light goes out. If the fast freeze function is notended manually, the appliance electronics switch offthe fast freeze function after 48 hours. The yellowlight  goes out.Distribute the frozen food packages in the othercompartments, so that the two top compartments canbe used for a further freezing operation. Only freezetop quality, fresh and thoroughly cleaned foodstuffs.Do not allow fresh food to touch food which is alreadyfrozen.During the freezing process, ensure that the freezerdoor remains closed.Frozen food storageWhen you first start the freezer or if the freezer hasbeen out of use for some time, we advise you to runyour appliance for at least two hours in the «fastfreeze» mode before storing frozen food.To obtain the best performance from this appliance,we strongly recommend that you make sure that thecommercially frozen foodstuffs were adequatelystored by the retailer and, furthermore, be sure thatthese frozen foodstuffs are transferred from thefoodstore to the consumer in the shortest possibletime (a temperature increase of the frozen food couldshorten its storage period).It is also advisable not to exceed the storage periodindicated by the producer of the food.Finally, do not open the door frequently or leave itopen longer than is absolutely necessary.ImportantDo not put carbonated liquids, (fizzy drinksetc.), in the freezer compartment.Ice lollies, if consumed immediately afterremoval from the freezer, can possibly result ina low temperature skin burn.Do not remove items from the freezer if yourhands are damp/wet, as this could cause skinabrasions or "frost/freezer burns".If there is a power failure during the storage offrozen food, do not open the door during thewhole time of the power failure. If the freezer isfully loaded, the frozen food will not be affectedif the power cut is of short duration; otherwise,it is recommended to consume the food withina very short time.Freezing calendarThe symbols on the drawers show different types offrozen goods.The numbers indicate storage times in months for theappropriate types of frozen goods. Whether the upperor lower value of the indicated storage time is validdepends on the quality of the foods and pre-treatingbefore freezing.Cold accumulatorThe freezer contains one cold accumulator which canbe found in the top compartment. The coldaccumulator increases storage times in the event of apower cut or breakdown. It must be placed on top ofthe food.Removal of this unit will increase the capacity of thefast freezing compartment but will reduce storagetimes in the event of a power cut or breakdown.
