Donot carry the appliances at the doorhandle.• To move the appliance, open the oven doorand lift the appliance by holding inside thetop of the compartment.• This is a type X appliance, which means it isfreestanding and can be fitted with cabinetson one or both sides.• Sidewalls, which are above hob level, shouldbe protected by heat resistant non-combus-tible material and must not be nearer than40mm to the hob side.• A nominal air gap of 2mm at either side ofthe appliance is required to enable the ap-pliance to be moved into position.• Always ensure an air gap is maintained athotplate level. Tiles or other forms of deepwall covering should not obscure this gap.• Overhanging surfaces or a cooker hoodshould be a minimum of 685mm above thehob.• It is important to ensure that the appliance islevel after installation. Levelling feet are fit-ted to the appliance to accommodate un-even floors.Adjustment of levelling feetThe cooker stands on 4 levelling feet. It is re-quired to confirm the appliance is correctlylevelled before operating it. This adjustmentcan be made by turning the levelling feet clock-wise or anti-clockwise, if required. It is possibleto raise the product up to maximum of 35 mmvia the levelling feet. If it becomes necessaryto move the appliance after the levelling feethave been adjusted, it is advisable to lift andnot drag. The levelling feet can be adjusted byhand or by using a metal coin of the correct size.Connecting to the electricitysupplyWARNING!This appliance must be earthed. Do not earththis appliance to gas supply piping. Connect to230 - 240V AC supply only.• Connection to the electricity supply must becarried out by a qualified electrician/compe-tent person.27
