Preparations for use S100 / OPMI picoVersion 9.0Page 108 G-30-1781-enConnections, establishingConnecting the S100 floor stand• Ensure that the rated voltage indicated in the display window (3) (onlyfor halogen / xenon) corresponds with the rated voltage for the networkat the site of the installation.• Ensure that the unit has been switched off at the power switch beforeplugging in or unplugging connectors at the power input socket (4).• Make sure that the power switch (1) is OFF.• Plug the power cord which is supplied with the supply unit into the powerinlet socket (4).• Connect the power cord via a socket to the power supply system.CAUTION Risk of electric shock caused by unapproved or defective accessories!Unapproved or defective accessories can cause increased leakage current!• Do not touch any video outputs or other signal interfaces while youare in contact with the patient.• When configuring your system, comply with the requirements ofIEC 60601-1, chapter 16; in some countries IEC 60601-1-1 is still valid.• Comply with the Medical Device Operator Ordinance or other nationallaws.WARNING Danger!
