19Personalising your handset settingsSetting the alarm clock18Wake up with BoB2TM - setting the alarm clockNo one likes the sound of their alarm but having BoB2TMwake you up isn’t so bad. Here’s how to arrange a wake-up callusing your BoB2TMhandset. Before setting the alarm, it’s important to make sure you’ve set the date and time – seepage 5.Activating/deactivating the alarm clock and setting the wake-up time• To set a wake-up time, press the control key and select ‘OK’.• You can either turn it ‘ON’ or ‘OFF’.• Then enter the time you would like the wake-up call (24 hour format).• Select the melody of your choice, followed by the volume (1-6) and save.• You’ll know the alarm has been successfully set when you see the alarm icon on the display screen.• The wake-up call will sound for 60 seconds. If no key is pressed, the wake-up call is repeated twice at five minuteintervals and then switched off. If you’re on a call when the wake-up call sounds, you’ll hear a short tone.Turning off the alarm or having a snoozeThe following functions will be available while the wake-up call is sounding:• To turn the wake-up call off, press the display key under ‘OFF’ on the display screen.• For snooze mode, press the display key under ‘Snooze’ or any key on the BoB2TMhandset. The wake-up callwill stop and then sound again after five minutes. After the second repetition, the wake-up call is deactivatedcompletely.We’re all individuals – personalising your handset settingsThe settings on BoB2TM’s handset are preconfigured but you’re free to change them as you please – it is your handsetafter all.Talk another language?You can view the display on your BoB2TMhandset in different languages. To scroll through the language options, pressand then scroll to ‘settings’ and press ok. Scroll down to ‘Handset’ and press ok. ‘Language’ will be highlighted, press ok.Select the language of your choice and press ok.The language that is currently selected will be indicated by a tick. Scroll through the list of languages using the controlkey. When your language of choice is highlighted, press ok.Looking good BoB2TM - setting the displayGive your BoB2TMhandset its own look. You can choose from four colour schemes and several different contrasts.To change the look, press then highlight ‘settings’ and press ok. Scroll to ‘Display’ and press ok. Ensure ‘colourscheme’ is highlighted and press ok. Place a tick in the selected colour scheme.• Press the end call key briefly to activate.• To change the contrast, select ‘Contrast’ and press ok.• Press the end call key briefly to activate. |
