If it does,follow these simple steps below, otherwise jump to the next page.• Press on the right side of the control key (it’s the one that looks like a square) to display the main menu.• Scroll down, using the control key, to ‘Settings’ and press OK using the display key to the bottom right of thescreen.• Now with the ‘Settings’ sub menu open, scroll down and select ‘Handset’ and press OK.• Scroll down again until you hit ‘Register H/Set’ and press OK.• Enter the system PIN number (the default is 0000) and press OK.• You should see a message on the screen that says ‘Regstr.Procedure Base 1’. This indicates that the registrationprocedure has started.On the BoB2TMmodemWithin 60 seconds of completing the above, press and hold the centre button on the back ofBoB2TMthat’s labeled ‘add extra hs/set’ for about three seconds.Following succesful registration, the handset will display ‘Base 1’. If the registration was unsuccessful, repeat the aboveprocess.The first battery charge and dischargeTo keep your BoB2TMhandset in top notch condition, follow the below steps for the first battery charge and discharge.1. Place the handset in the charger for six hours or until the battery is completely full.2. Then, remove the handset and allow for the battery to discharge to the point where you can’t turn it on.3. Now, fully charge the handset once again. You can then use the handset as normal, returning it to the chargingcradle after a call or whenever suits you.Note – you will have to repeat the above process if you remove or replace the batteries.Hey BoB, what’s the time? Setting the date and timeIt’s a good idea to set the date and time so you know when calls come in, plus, you’ll also be able to make use of the alarm.1. Press the display key below ‘Time’ on the screen to open the input field.2. Enter the day, month and year as a six digit number via the keypad. For example, 01072011 for 1 July, 2011.3. Scroll down to highlight the ‘Time’ field. Enter the hour and minutes as a four digit number via the keypad. Forexample, 1915 for 7:15pm.4. To finish, press the display key below ‘Save’ to save the settings.
