17 Setting Up the BassNS-CR4/5 Radius Bass Owner’s ManualSetting the intonation The horizontal bridge position is locked by twoscrews on each side (3/32" hex wrench, providedwith the bass). By loosening these screws you areable to move the bridge on the respective sideback and forth to adjust intonation.If the intonation becomes flat when the stringsare played at the higher frets, the bridge shouldbe moved slightly closer to the neck.To move the bridge towards the neck:1 Loosen the screw on the tuner side of thebridge and push the bridge into the desiredposition.2 Turn in the previously loosened screw until itslightly touches the bridge post.3 Tighten the screw on the neck side of the bridge.If the intonation becomes sharp when thestrings are played at the higher frets, the bridgeshould be moved slightly closer to the tuners.To move the bridge towards the tuners:1 Loosen the screw on the neck side of thebridge and push the bridge into the desiredposition.2 Turn in the previously loosened screw until itslightly touches the bridge post.3 Tighten the screw on the tuner side of the bridge.
