By default, allports belong to VLAN 1. If you createother VLANs, you will only be able toaccess that Web interface from a com-puter that belongs to VLAN 1.IP Address Mode Specify how the Switch will get its IPaddress. Available options include:■ DHCP – Select this option if youhave a DHCP server on the net-work and you want the Switch toautomatically obtain an IP addressfrom it■ Static – Select this option if youwant to manually assign an IPaddress to the SwitchIP Address Specify an IP address that you want toassign to the Switch. This option is onlyavailable if IP Address Mode is set toStatic.The IP address that is assigned to theSwitch also becomes the IP address forVLAN 1.Subnet Mask Specify a subnet mask address that youwant to assign to the Switch. Thisoption is only available if IP AddressMode is set to Static.The default subnet mask is255.255.0.0.Default Gateway Specify the IP address of the gatewayrouter between this Switch and man-agement stations on other networksegments.
