The included self-supervision with internal event list function block provides good supervision of theIED. The fault signals make it easier to analyze and locate a fault.Both hardware and software supervision is included and it is also possible to indicatepossible faults through a hardware contact on the power supply module and/or throughthe communication.Internal events are generated by the built-in supervisory functions. The supervisoryfunctions supervise the status of the various modules in the IED and, in case of failure,a corresponding event is generated.
