A negative reference (indicating reversed direction ofrotation) is formed by calculating the two’s complement from thecorresponding positive reference. The ABB Drives profilereference can be found in CoE objects 0×2006 (hex) (TransparentReference) and 0×4000 (hex), subindex 3 (Reference 2).ABB drives can receive control information from multiple sourcesincluding analogue and digital inputs, the drive control panel and acommunication module (e.g. RECA-01). In order to have the drivecontrolled through the fieldbus, the module must be defined as thesource for control information, e.g. reference.ScalingReferences are scaled as shown below.Note: The values of REF1 MAX and REF2 MAX are set by driveparameters.
