Time comparatorThis module compares the current day and time with the activation hour and minutedefined with the settings xxx Act hour and xxx Act Mn, respectively. When the time ofthe day reaches the set activation time, output Q is activated and remains active for theduration defined by the setting xxx off delay. The output remains active until the next day if the value for xxx offdelay is set so that it results into rollover of the day.Different activation and deactivation times can be set for all days of the week. Theactivation and deactivation can also be disabled for a specific day. For example, if theactivation or deactivation is not needed on Sundays, the setting Sunday Act enable canbe set as "False".Activation of the BLOCK input deactivates the function output whereas the activationof the FREEZE input freezes the output. The BLOCK input always has a higher prioritythan the FREEZE input.3.20.3.5 ApplicationDTMGAPC is useful in applications that require signal activation and deactivation ata specific time of the day. Different activation times and duration can be set fordifferent days of the week. For example, if the signal should be active on Mondaysbetween 7:15 and 16:00, the Monday Act enable setting should be "True", Monday Acthour should be "7", Monday Act Mn should be "15", and Monday off delay should be"525" minutes. The behavior of output Q is illustrated in Figure 107.MondayQ06:0003:00 12:0009:00 18:0015:00 00:0021:00Set Monday Act hour = 07 hrsSet Monday Act Mn = 15 minSet Monday off delay = 525 minGUID-54C62CF8-05D8-4AF3-A425-3BA037AA1AA6 V1 ENFigure 107: Example setting values for output Q activation3.20.3.6 SignalsTable 195:DTMGAPC Input signalsName Type Default DescriptionBLOCK BOOLEAN 0=False Block signal for binary outputFREEZE BOOLEAN 0=False Freeze signal for binary output1MRS759142 C Section 3Basic functionsREX640 219Technical Manual
