The trigger signal(s) and the edge are selected with SPA parameters V236...V237and V241...V242; see Table 5.1.17.-5 and Table 5.1.17.-6. The recorder can also betriggered manually with SPA parameter M1.Triggering of the disturbance recorder is only possible if the recorder is not alreadytriggered.5.1.11.5. Settings and unloadingThe setting parameters for the disturbance recorder are V parameters V236...V238,V240...V243 and V246, and M parameters M15, M18, M20 and M80...M83.Unloading correct information from the recorder requires that M80 and M83 havebeen set. Unloading is done by using a PC application. The uploaded recorder datais stored in separate files defined by the comtrade® format.5.1.11.6. Event code of the disturbance recorderThe disturbance recorder generates an event code on triggering (E31) and clearing(E32) the recorder. The event mask is determined using SPA parameter V155.5.1.12. Recorded data of the last eventsThe relay records up to five events. This enables the user to analyze the last fivefault conditions in the electrical power network. Each event includes the measuredvoltages, start durations and time stamp, for instance. Additionally, information onthe number of starts of the stages and trips is provided.Recorded data is non-volatile by default, provided that the battery has been insertedand is charged. A master reset, that is, clearing of indications and memorized valuesand unlatching of output contacts, erases the contents of the stored events and thenumber of starts of the stages.The number of trips is stored in the non-volatile memory ( EEPROM)and is thereby not cleared when performing a master reset. The numberof trips can be erased by entering the value 1 into parameter V166.The relay collects data during fault conditions. When all start signals have been resetor a stage trips, the collected data and time stamp is stored as EVENT1 and thepreviously stored events move one step forward.
