22I N S T A L L A T I O NSUNLIGHT PROTECTIONExternal sources of light beams from direct sunlight, lighting moving head fixtures, and lasers, whichare focused directly towards the exterior housing and/or penetrate the front lens opening of ADJ light-ing fixtures, can cause severe internal damage including burning to optics, dichroic color filters, glassand metal gobos, prisms, animation wheels, frost filters, iris, shutters, motors, belts, wiring, dischargelamps, and LEDs.This issue is not specific only to ADJ lighting fixtures. Rather, it is a common issue with lightingfixtures from all manufacturers. Although there is no true way to fully prevent this issue from happen-ing, the guidelines below can prevent any potential damage from occurring if followed. Contact ADJService for more details.DO NOT EXPOSE THE FIXTURE AND/OR FRONT LENS OPENING TO LIGHT BEAMS FROMDIRECT SUNLIGHT, OTHER LIGHTING MOVING HEAD FIXTURES, AND LASERS WHILEUNPACKING, INSTALLATION, USE, AND EXTENDED IDLE TIMES OUTDOORS. DO NOT FOCUSA LIGHT BEAM FROM ONE LIGHTING FIXTURE DIRECTLY TOWARDS ANOTHER.
