Chapter 6. Configuration61200051L1-1D ISU 2x64 Dual Port ISDN Service Unit User Manual 39V.25Configuring the ISU 2x64 for V.25 bis (see Figure 6-5) enablesinband dialing over a DTE interface using asynchronous or syn-chronous V.25 bis commands. V.25 bis can be used to establishand end a call. Disconnecting calls can also be done from thefront panel (as described previously), from a VT 100 terminal, orfrom the far-end unit.V.25 bis dialing is used primarily by DTE with synchronous inter-faces (HDLC/SDLC or BSC/BISYNC) not supporting the ATcommand set, which is commonly used by asynchronousdevices. The ISU 2x64 supports V.25 bis inband dialing in accor-dance with Fascicle V.III-V.25 bis (Malaga-Torremolinos 1984,Melbourne 1988).Figure 6-5Dial Options, V.25 bis Menu TreeRecommendation V.25 uses the following DCE/DTE control sig-nals:Transmitted Data . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .Circuit 103Received Data . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .Circuit 104Ready for Sending. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .Circuit 106Data Set Ready. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .Circuit 107Data Terminal Ready . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .Circuit 108/2Calling Indicator . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .Circuit 1253=CONFIG1=Netw. options2=DTE options3=Protocol4=Quick setup5=Security6=Remote Config1=Dial Line2=Leased Line1=Front Panel2=RS-3663=AT commands4=V.255=Disabled1=V.25 HDLC2=V.25 ASYNC3=V.25 BISYNC4=V.25 HDLC FLAG1=Switch protocl2=Call type3=Terminal ID4=Busy Out5=Dial options6=Auto answer7=Answer tone8=Connect Timout9=Call Screening10=SBus Terminati
