Chapter 6. Configuration46 ISU 2x64 Dual Port ISDN Service Unit User Manual 61200051L1-1DWhen Call Screening is set to Ansr if SN0. . .9, an incoming callis not answered if the Call ID received from the switch does notmatch a stored number. Depending on the switch type, the CallID may be presented in either a seven- or ten-digit format. TheISU 2x64 displays the Call ID for all dumped calls in the StatusBuffer. See Status Buffer on page 20 for more information.Because different switches handle calls and Call ID differently, first find out if the switch uses a seven- or ten-digit Call ID for-mat. Use the following procedure to determine if a seven- or ten-digit Call ID (phone number) should be stored.1. Select Ansr if SN0. . .9 under Call Screening.2. Store the seven-digit number in SN0.3. Place a call to the ISU 2x64 with the stored number to see if itanswers properly.4. If the ISU 2x64 does not answer the call, check the Call IDmessage in the Status Buffer. More than likely, the Call IDnumber will be a ten-digit number.5. Reenter the number in SN0 as it is displayed in the Call IDmessage and test Call Screening again.SBus TerminationUse the SBus Termination option (see Figure 6-12) to select 100ohm termination resistors for the S/T interface on ISU 2x64 unitsthat are equipped for the ISDN S/T interface. These units (partnumbers 1200051L2, 1200051L4, 1200051L5, and 1200051L6) con-nect to the S/T interface of an NT1 device or the S/T line card.Figure 6-12SBus Termination Menu Tree3=CONFIG1=Netw. options2=DTE options3=Protocol4=Quick setup5=Security6=Remote Config1=Dial Line2=Leased Line1=100 ohm On2=100 ohm Off1=Switch protocl2=Call type3=Terminal ID4=Busy Out5=Dial options6=Auto answer7=Answer tone8=Connect Timout9=Call Screening0=SBus Terminati
