SUPPLYING POWER TO THE UNITAC-Powered SystemsThe AC-powered ATLAS 550 comes equipped with a detachable 6-foot power cord with a 3-prong plugfor connecting to a grounded power receptacle. As shipped, the ATLAS 550 is set to factory defaultconditions. To power-up the unit, ensure that the unit is properly connected to an appropriate power sourceand turn on the unit using the on/off switch on the back panel.DC-Powered SystemsThe DC-powered ATLAS 550 comes equipped with a DC power supply to furnish the voltages necessaryfor proper backplane operation. As shipped, the ATLAS 550 is set to factory default conditions. Afterinstalling the unit and any option modules, the ATLAS 550 is ready for power-up.7. INSTALLING NETWORK AND OPTION MODULESFigure 2 shows the option slot numbering designation as viewed from the back of the ATLAS 550.Figure 2.
