Using the provided 9-foot coiled handset cord, insert one end into the jack in the bottom of thehandset. Insert the other end into the jack on the back of the phone console labeled with thehandset icon as shown in Figure 3. Place the handset on the handset cradle once installed.2. Optional. Connect your headset to the jack in the back of the phone console labeled with theheadset icon as shown in Figure 3. There are many types of headsets that can be used with theIP 706 or IP 712 phone.
