Connect the other DS1s using the RJ connectoron the front panel. For more information, refer to ìDS1 Portsî on page 4-6.Starting from the default blank mapping, the DS0s can be dropped using the Quick Setupmenu to the PPP and V.35 ports (see Figure 3-3). Select each port (PPP1-4, V.35) to which aDS0 needs to be dropped from the incoming DS1. For each port, select the range of DS0s inDS1 1 to be dropped to that port. To drop DS0s to the other DS1 ports, use the Quick Setupmenu to navigate to the Cross-Connect Mapping menu. Select the Map Multiple DS0ís optionand then select the range of DS0 and DS1 1 to be dropped to DS1 2 and enable Robbed BitSignaling if applicable.Any un-mapped DS0s from the incoming DS1 will transmit All Ones.
