This requiresconnecting the RS-232 craft ports of the other equipment to the Terminal Server ports of theMX410. Establishing a Telnet session to the MX410 Terminal Server ports establishes accessto the other equipment. Up to four external devices can be accessed in this way.The Ethernet ports on the MX410 are used to provide remote management of the otherEthernet based equipment. This requires connecting the Ethernet ports of the otherequipment to the Ethernet ports on the MX410 (see Figure 3-23).
